The proof promise

You’ll see it before I stitch it.

Personalized pieces can’t be returned — so I make certain they’re right the only time it counts. Every order gets a stitched-layout proof, and nothing is sewn until you’ve approved it.

Start to finish

How your proof works.

You personalize

Choose your monogram or name, your lettering style and thread, and — for custom pieces — your fabric and welting. The previewer shows you a first look right away.

I lay out the stitch file

I build your actual embroidery file — the real letterforms, sized and placed for your piece — not a mock-up. This is the layout the machine will follow.

Your proof, emailed

I send you a proof of that layout: your exact initials or name, thread color, and placement, so there are no surprises.

You approve

Look it over and reply with any changes. You and I go back and forth until it’s exactly right — I adjust anything that isn’t. Your yes is the only go-ahead I work from.

I stitch it

Once you’ve approved, I appliqué your piece by hand — shape stitched down, hand-cut, satin edge — from the file you signed off on.

It ships to you

Your finished piece is pressed, packed, and sent from my Houston studio — ready to give.

In plain words

Nothing is stitched until you’ve seen it.

That’s the whole promise. Because you approve the proof, all personalized sales are final — and because you approve the proof, you never have to worry about that. It’s how one pair of hands makes sure your gift is right.

A few questions

Good to know.

How long until I get my proof?

Proof turnaround is a placeholder pending confirmation. I’ll send your proof as soon as your layout is ready, and I won’t stitch until you reply.

Can I change my design after I see the proof?

Yes — that’s the point of it. Reply with any change to the letters, thread, or placement and I’ll send an updated proof. Nothing is final until you say so.

Why are personalized pieces final sale?

A monogram made for your family can’t be resold, so personalized pieces are final sale. The proof is how I make that fair: you see and approve exactly what will be stitched before I sew.

Does the gift tag get stitched onto the pillow?

No. The “To ―――” gift tag in the designer is just for sharing — a sweet way to send the idea to yourself or the recipient. Only your monogram or name is stitched onto the piece.
